After joining Syke Union, she started at a lower level and gradually worked her way up through her own abilities. She eventually became a researcher capable of independently leading important projects. She is not a beginner who has only recently entered the research field. She already has the skills and experience needed to take responsibility for major projects.
Ancose's father is a senior manager at Syke Union. He supports her career, but his work keeps him busy, so they do not spend much time together. Her mother is from Evara so she can speak Evaron Although Ancose comes from a family with this kind of background, she did not succeed simply because of her father's position. She chose to build her career at Syke Union mainly because of her own interests and the values she shares with the company.
When they were children, Ancose and Mireille received an education arranged by Cloud. Ancose once served as Mireille's Orphettish teacher.
Ancose dies in an accident during a research project she is responsible for.
After her death, Ancose chooses to upload her consciousness and become digital life. When she makes this decision, she does not know how digital life actually works. Like most people in society, she believes that digital life can preserve a person's original consciousness.
Only after becoming digital life does Ancose discover that the system does not truly continue a person's original consciousness. Instead, it simulates that person's emotions, behavior, and reactions based on the data they left behind before death.
This discovery changes how she understands digital life, technological progress, and the society she lives in. Later, she finds her former rival, Etherea, and joins her and their other companions to investigate the truth behind digital life.

Mireille grew up in Evara's black-market environment. She was once considered a genius within the gray-market organization Quantum Lost. Later, while investigating the truth with her companions, she joins Flavie Information Technology Co.
Mireille was born into an undocumented family in the black-market community, so she does not have an implanted translation chip. She only speaks Evaron, which corresponds to French, and faces discrimination because of the language barrier. Since translation chips are already widespread, few people in society make an effort to learn other languages.
When Mireille was ten, her parents died in a conflict in the black market. When she went to the Information Administration to handle their inheritance, she got into an argument with the staff because of problems with her language and identity. She felt completely alone and eventually accepted Cloud's invitation to join its elite education program. Her parents had previously turned down the same invitation because they had noticed that Cloud was hiding something.
Since Mireille does not have a translation chip, Cloud has to arrange an Orphettish teacher for her. That teacher is Ancose.

Etherea is an undercover operative sent by Valgais to work on a joint project with Syke Union. She uses the cooperation between the two groups as cover. Her real mission is to steal Syke Union's core technology.
Syke Union and Valgais originally had a cooperative relationship, and Etherea joined their joint project during this period. Later, the two groups fall out because of their different ideas about technological development. Ancose also discovers Etherea's true identity.
At first, Etherea connects the competition between the two groups. Later, she becomes an important figure in Ancose's investigation into the truth about digital life. After becoming digital life and discovering the truth, Ancose reaches out to her former rival, Etherea. Together with their other companions, they begin searching for answers.
