River valleys and old forests are scattered across the region. The vegetation is dense, and many ancient ruins and family estates are hidden deep in the mountains. The climate and landscape naturally make the area difficult to explore. Outsiders have trouble reaching its inner regions, while local families have held power there for generations.
Orphett is the wealthiest city in the world and the headquarters of Syke Union.
It is located on a warm coastal plain. The climate is mild and humid, with little temperature change throughout the year and plenty of sunlight. The city is carefully planned, with skyscrapers and massive corporate campuses stretching along the coast. Since wealth and resources are highly concentrated here, Orphett attracts talented people from all over. Its climate and geography are also heavily controlled by artificial systems, so severe weather is almost never seen. Its comfortable environment and high standard of living make it a center for the elite.

Rochert is Etherea's birthplace and the home of Valgais.
Rochert lies in a hot, dry, semi-arid region with rocky terrain and large differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures. Summers are long and scorching, and sandstorms are common. The city stretches along industrial zones and mining areas. Its buildings are heavy and weather-resistant, with a rough appearance. Pipes, cooling systems, and industrial equipment are often left exposed. The heat and limited resources have shaped a local culture that values efficiency and results. They have also helped create the idea that restrictions can be loosened in order to keep technological development moving forward.
Evara is Mireille's birthplace and the home of Quantum Lost and Flavie Information Technology Co.
Evara is hot and rainy throughout much of the year, with high humidity and a long rainy season. The humid climate makes it difficult to store physical goods for long periods, so information tends to move in electronic form. This has helped create the conditions for the digital black market and underground information industries to thrive. On the surface, the city looks like an ordinary port and commercial center. Beneath that surface, however, it is made up of layers of gray-market networks.

Novros is 1's birthplace and the home of St. Solen Medical Hub and Deripa Military Defense Base.
Novros is located on a cold, high-latitude plateau. Its winters are long and extremely cold, with heavy snowfall and frozen ground for much of the year. The region is rich in wind and mineral resources. The city is built around military facilities, medical centers, and logistics hubs. Its buildings are sturdy and enclosed, with function taking priority over appearance. Their exteriors are mostly made of heavy metal and concrete.
